Academy79 is designing its program and technology around child safety, guardian awareness, data minimization, controlled access, and responsible use. Final policies and contractual requirements may vary by school, jurisdiction, program structure, and participant age, and are confirmed in the partnership documentation.
Safeguarding approach
Safeguarding is agreed before a program begins. Readiness covers adult screening and background checks, supervision arrangements, codes of conduct for delivering staff, guardian consent, emergency and medical procedures, and a named safeguarding contact at the partner organization.
Academy79 follows the partner organization's own safeguarding policy where it is more specific or more strict.
Youth-data principles
We collect the minimum information needed to run and report on a program. Developmental records are private to the learner, approved program staff, and approved guardians. We do not sell data, publish youth records, operate a public profile marketplace, or share individual participant information with sponsors.
We do not create permanent player rankings, psychological scores, automated talent selection, or predicted player value.
Privacy
Information submitted through this website — such as partnership requests — is used only to respond to and manage that request. Please do not submit personal information about individual children through public website forms.
Program-level privacy terms, retention periods, access rights, and deletion requests are defined in the agreement with each partner organization. A full privacy policy will be published in plain language before the first cohort begins; a draft is available on request.
AI-use principles
AI may assist with translation, summarization, session preparation, and administrative organization. Human coaches and program leaders review all developmental content. AI is not used to make medical decisions, diagnose participants, determine a child's value, or independently select or reject players.
Coaches and program leaders remain responsible for developmental judgment at all times.
Media and image consent
Photography and video of participants require guardian consent, and consent is requested separately from program enrollment. Participants may take part without appearing in any media. Images used in Academy79 marketing are either licensed, generated, or captured with documented permission.
Accessibility
This website is built with semantic structure, keyboard navigation, visible focus states, adequate colour contrast, and respect for reduced-motion preferences. Programs are adapted where possible to include learners with a range of abilities; specific accommodations are agreed during program design.

Concerns about a participant's safety should be raised immediately with the partner organization's safeguarding contact and with local emergency services where there is immediate risk.
